Brand new opportunity for an experienced Sales Account Manager to support our growing Community Businesses! 

  • Attractive remuneration starting at $90,000p.a + Super + tax-free salary packaging

  • Working Monday - Friday

  • Ongoing full-time (76 hours/fortnight)
  • Located in Sydney Olympic Park (travel to our Community Business Sites will be essential) 

About the Opportunity

The Sales Account Manager, Community Businesses is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial customers and serves as the primary point of contact for key clients, driving sales, fostering long-term relationships, and ultimately contributing to the overall growth and success of Flourish Australia’s Community Businesses. The position also has a key role in providing data and insights on sales forecasts and growth opportunities to drive strategic decision-making.

On a day-to-day basis, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing Flourish Australia Community Businesses to increase customer base; 
  • Maintain accurate records of all costings, quotes, sales, proposals, and any other information as requested by Business Development Manager; 
  • Respond in a timely manner to all customer enquiries and requests by preparing and providing quotations for all new work; 
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on key account performance, revenue trends, and growth opportunities. Use data and insights to drive strategic decision-making. 
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients or accounts to drive sales and ensure long-term business success. Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, driving sales, fostering long-term relationships, and ultimately contributing to the overall growth and success of Social Enterprise. 
  • Collaborate with site managers, production team and senior leaders to ensure a coordinated approach to serving key accounts. 
  • Manage all aspects of customer accounts, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, monitoring clients feedback, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and ensuring that the client's needs are being met in a timely and satisfactory manner. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional services and solutions, including identifying growth opportunities, introducing new products or services, or expanding the scope of existing offerings. 
  • Conduct proactive site audits to assess performance, address concerns, and gather feedback to continuously improve service quality.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • A diploma or degree in Business Management or related discipline. 
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in account management, sales, or a related role.
  • A strong commitment to high quality customer service.  
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience working within contractual guidelines. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with CRM, SAP, and other quality management systems. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Excellent communication, relationship building, organisational and analytical skills 
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence. 

Desirable:

  • A personal lived experience of a mental health issue.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by people with complex mental health issues and how providing a recovery-oriented, trauma informed service is of benefit to people.
  • Experience in a related business e.g. packaging, warehousing, cleaning, ground maintenance.
  • A First Aid certificate
