- Based in Marrickville, Harris Park or St Marys (travel to our Community Business Sites will be essential)
About the Opportunity
The Sales Consultant, Social Enterprises is responsible for identifying and building opportunities for sales and new business, developing and maintaining strong relationships with commercial customers and serves as the primary point of contact for key clients, driving sales, fostering long-term relationships, and ultimately contributing to the overall growth and success of Flourish Australia’s Community Businesses.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, Employment Services, the Sales Consultant, Social Enterprises provides high quality customer service, responding to all customer enquiries, and works in collaboration with site Managers, operations team and senior leaders to ensure a coordinated approach to fulfilling customer requirements.
On a day-to-day basis, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Proactively utilise your sales expertise to increase sales revenue.
- Research the market and actively pursue opportunities to network and build our customer base.
- Share expert knowledge of our products and services with our customers, identifying opportunities to sell/upsell additional business services and solutions.
- Partner with internal & external stakeholder to maximise marketing opportunities across platforms.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business service clients, fostering long-term relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and provide accurate quotations for potential work.
- Lead the tender review and request process, identifying and pursuing potential business opportunities through timely and accurate tender submission.
- Maintain accurate business records, providing sales forecasts and detailed reports on key account performance, revenue trends, and growth opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with site managers, production team and senior leaders to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain a system for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, seeking and addressing customer feedback.
- Proactively conduct site audits to assess performance & address concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to strategically position our services and maintain a competitive edge.
- Recommend and assist in the planning for new products and services.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Qualifications in Sales/Marketing/Business or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working in sales/marketing, or a related role.
- Proven ability to sell products and services, build and maintain successful business relationships
- Ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders to promote services or products and increase sales.
- Proven ability to achieve Key Performance Indicator’s, targets and deadlines.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, and experience working in a CRM (SAP an advantage).
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and report on data.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
